The schedule on a project is frequently the most challenging component to work with. Laurel Macdonald at Macdonald Environmental Planning, P.C. contacted YMSW about the material selection for Harrison West in the heart of Portland. The developer had a very aggressive schedule to remodel the 537 units into condominiums — one of three towers being renovated every 14 months. Laurel specified our Pepper Brown Granite due to its warm and light coloration for oversized pavers installed in a central exterior courtyard, the focal point that ties together a 4 acre site. The job went very smoothly, from shops to fabrication to shipping and delivery. Control samples arrived Oct 5th. YMSW started fabrication and QC within 10 days and the finished product arrived at the port of export 20 days later - landing in Portland the end of November. From control samples to our warehouse in Portland, it was 6-7 week delivery time.
